Bob Dylan publicizes boxing set with 1970 George Harrison assembly
Bob Dylan announced in 1970 (50th Anniversary Collection) a box set that includes his meeting with George Harrison on May 1, 1970. Together they played nine songs, including covers and Dylan originals. Along with the Harrison collaborations, 1970 features previously unreleased outtakes from the Self Portrait and New Morning sessions. 1970 will be released February 26, 2021 (via Columbia Records / Legacy Recordings); Check out the track listing on Bob Dylan’s website.
Dylan quietly released limited editions in 1970 earlier this month to expand his copyright. He recently sold the music publishing rights to his entire catalog to Universal Music Publishing as part of a landmark deal.
