Caroline Polachek and Lauren Auder Cowl “Some Small Hope”: Hear

Caroline Polachek teamed up with singer-songwriter Lauren Auder to cover a song by Virginia Astley and Ryuichi Sakamoto. Below, listen to her version of “Some Small Hope,” produced by Polachek’s contributor Danny L Harle. Scroll down to see the original, which is also David Sylvian on. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the cover “Some Small Hope” will go to Shelter Partnership Los Angeles, Mermaids UK and Shelter UK.

In 2016, Polachek and Harle shared “Ashes of Love”. More recently, Harle has produced several tracks in Polachek’s Pang, as well as the cover of the singer for Corrs’ “Breathless”.

In October, Lauren Auder released her single “Quiet,” produced by Danny L Harle. She has since shared the “animal” produced by mmph. And in March Auder released their second EP, two caves in.
