Electric forest postponed to summer 2022 due to COVID-19 pandemic

Electric forest will be officially postponed to 2022.

After examining various options and alternative dates for an event in 2021, Electric Forest ultimately made the difficult decision to shift focus to the next year. Citing circumstances related to COVID-19, Forest HQ shares:

After a turbulent year full of challenges, the headquarters eagerly awaited our return to Electric Forest and worked towards it. However, as the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic have continued, it has become clear that we cannot assemble in 2021 and that postponing to 2022 is our only course of action.

According to the statement released today, ticket holders will have the option to keep their wristbands and accommodation packages for the summer of 2022, or to request a full refund including fees.

This message follows the movement of another staple insomnia Event, EDC Las Vegas. The festival was recently postponed until October 2021.

It’s been a year of uncertainty for Electric Forest and countless other music festivals around the world. While this is not the news anyone wanted to hear, at least hopeful participants have an answer.

Electric Forest thanks its Forest Family for the “patience, planning and determination they have shown over the past year”.
