Hawkeye: Hailee Steinfeld Confirmed as Kate Bishop on the Disney + collection

And now to some casting news that we think is a real porthole. It’s just right. It is, and we cannot stress this enough, precisely. Hawk Eyewho have favourited the Disney + series Jeremy RennerThe archer Avenger started filming in New York this week, and numerous outlets have been spotted Hailee Steinfeld in costume as Marvel fan favorite Kate Bishop.

The inclusion of Kate Bishop in Hawkeye has been the hypest part of this series since it was announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2019. Created by the author Allan Heinberg and artist Jim CheungThe character is the first woman to wear the Hawkeye coat. Daughter of one of New York’s wealthiest families, Kate is dedicated to fighting crime following a life-changing attack in Central Park. She joins the Young Avengers and eventually chooses Clint Barton as a mentor. Renner teased Kate’s arrival to play on Twitter, but there hasn’t been any official casting confirmation from Marvel. So don’t tell them about it.

As long as people have been talking about Kate Bishop finally making the leap into live action, they have been talking about Hailee Steinfeld filling the role. The young actress first made at 13 in the Coen Bros.True grit Remake before starring in two Pitch perfect Sequels containing the Transformer ground out bumblebeeand the voice for Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
