Kim Kardashian provides Brandon Bernard particulars from “Hardest Name” previous to scheduled execution
Kim Kardashian says she had a tearful conversation with the convicted murderer Brandon Bernard on the same day He was due to be executed for killing two people when he was 18 years old.
The 40-year-old reality star has joined a social media foray in the past few weeks in an attempt to convince the president Donald Trump to commute the sentence of the prisoner, who has been on death row for 20 years, and prevent him from undergoing what is expected to be the ninth scheduled execution by the federal government this year. Forty-year-old Bernard was supposed to die from a fatal injection on the evening of December 10th.
“I was just talking to Brandon, which will probably be the last time,” Kardashian tweeted at 5:03 p.m. EST. “The toughest phone call I’ve ever had. Brandon, selfless as always, focused on his family and made sure they were okay. He told me not to cry because our fight isn’t over yet.”
She added, “When he told me he was claustrophobic and they offered to drink sedative to calm him down before putting him in the chair and he just didn’t want to panic, I literally lost it. Me had to mute my phone so he wouldn’t hear me crying like that. We didn’t say goodbye because we wanted to hope we’d talk again, we said we’ll talk to you soon! “
