New Cobra Kai Season Three Trailer Groups Daniel & Johnny for the Final Karate Child Showdown

Following yesterday’s teaser, the full trailer for the third season of the hit Netflix series Cobra Kai is here and provides a pretty in-depth look at what Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg have in store for us. When we reunite the audience with our war heroes Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) and Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio), it looks like the karate-loving couple are putting their differences aside for a change, to give a pretense of the mess that was of order to leave after the finale of the second season.

According to the official Netflix recap, Season 3 Cobra Kai will deal with the aftermath of the high school brawl that ended season two. With Miguel (Xolo Maridueña) in a coma, both Daniel and Johnny must reassess the extent of their own involvement in the events that got him there, and try to find a better way for their students.

The drama goes far and wide in Season 3, and Robby (Tanner Buchanan) is now incarcerated for an injury to Miguel. Meanwhile, Hawk (Jacob Bertrand) is tormented again by high school bully Kyler (Joe Seo), and John Kreese tightens his stranglehold on Cobra Kai and again gives his students a very questionable moral code. The ethics of melodrama and karate aside, when Daniel and Johnny kick and peck their way through the bad guys, while the new and improved Tango and Cash should prove to be an absolute delight.

The trailer also confirms the arrival of two familiar faces from the Karate Kid universe, bringing back Daniel’s archenemy from The Karate Kid Part II, Chozen Toguchi, and his love interest, Kumiko, who is again played by Yuji Okumoto and Tamlyn Tomita.

Star Ralph Macchio has previously teased a return to Part II, with the actor revealing that season three will delve into the beginnings of Miyagi-Do Karate and Cobra Kai. “For season three, I can tease that while some of the stories are going to delve into the origins of Miyagi-Do Karate and Cobra Kai because of the events of the second season, some of the stories will.” Macchio said earlier this year. “Like the beginnings of these two forms of martial arts, and we’ll learn things about both of them that we never knew. And that includes LaRusso going to Okinawa, which is a season three piece.”

Set 34 years after the first Karate Kid film, Cobra Kai re-examines the narrative from Daniel’s point of view, Johnny Lawrence’s point of view. Johnny is now a struggling alcoholic and decides to reopen the Cobra Kai Karate Dojo, which leads to the revival of his old rivalry with Daniel LaRusso. Cobra Kai sees the return of Ralph Macchio as Daniel and William Zabka as Johnny. In the final minutes of season two, there is a massive high school brawl that ends with Daniel LaRusso’s student and Johnny Lawrence’s son, Robby, stepping over a railing onto a staircase a few feet below him . leaving him with potentially life-threatening injuries.

Fortunately, the third season of Cobra Kai managed to avoid delays in the ongoing global situation. The series was able to wrap up production and finish whatever it needed before the entertainment industry was indefinitely interrupted a few months ago. Cobra Kai plays alongside Zabka and Macchio Courtney Henggeler, Xolo Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni Decenzo, Vanessa Rubio, Peyton List and Martin Kove.

The series has proven to be a huge hit for Netflix. The streaming giant announced back in October that the show had already been extended for a fourth season. Netflix will premiere Cobra Kai season 3 on January 8, 2021. This comes to us from Netflix.
