Paris Hilton sets the record for the “Truth” about her “Stop Being Poor” shirt
Paris Hilton clears the air through a specific shirt that she has never actually owned.
Years ago, a photo went online of the star rocking a sleeveless top that said “Stop Being Poor”. But on Monday May 3rd, she went to TikTok to confirm that she never actually wore a top like this, as it was all the result of a crafty Photoshop user.
“So this photo is of me online – I’m sure you saw it,” said the 40-year-old Paris in the new footage. “I’ve never worn this shirt. It was all Photoshoped. Everyone thinks it’s real, but that’s not the truth.”
She then shared what she claimed is an actual picture of herself and revealed that a chosen word is different. “This is what it really said, ‘Stop being desperate,'” Paris continued. “Don’t believe everything you read.”
This is certainly not the first time this statement has been shared. As reported widely by a number of the media outlets, Paris was actually photographed wearing the “Stop Being Desperate” shirt at an event in Las Vegas in April 2005, and a picture was later edited to appear as a commentary on socio-economic differences submitted.
