Share Sigur Ró’s video for the brand new track “Stendur æva”: Watch it

Sigur Rós shared another track from their upcoming album Odins Raven Magic. It is called “Stendur æva”. Check out a selection video below, recorded at a performance in Paris in 2004 with the Conservatoire de Paris Orchestra and the Schola Cantorum Choir.

Singer Steindór Andersen and Icelandic artist colleagues Hilmar Örn Hilmarsson and María Huld Markan Sigfúsdóttir join the band in “Stendur æva”. Odin’s Raven Magic, released December 4th, is Sigur Ró’s first album since Kveikur 2013. It began as an orchestral work, which the group premiered at the Reykjavik Arts Festival in 2002 and was inspired by a work of medieval Icelandic poetry. At the end of October, the group announced “Dvergmál” from the project.
