Wrath of Man Red Band Trailer sends Jason Statham on a brutal ramage of revenge

A newly released Red Band trailer for Wrath of man brings the red wine as action superstar Jason Statham brutalizes his way through bad guys in a violent mission of revenge. There will be blood when Statham shoots an impossible number of bullets and collects large numbers of bodies to find those responsible for killing his son.

Wrath of Man was written by Sherlock Holmes and The Gentlemen Director Guy Ritchie alongside Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davies with Ritchie at the helm. Inspired by the 2004 French action thriller Cash Truck (LeConvoyeur), the story follows a mysterious and wild-eyed new Cash Truck security guard named “H”. The film finds Statham on familiar, but always very welcome, reason, as H, a cold and mysterious stranger, is hired by a cash truck company that moves hundreds of millions of dollars in Los Angeles every week.

While he may seem humble at first, H suddenly surprises his staff during a robbery, unleashing the kind of precision skills and merciless violence only The Stath can deliver. The rest of the crew wonder who he is and where he’s from as they wipe the blood off their freshly squeezed uniforms. Soon, the Sagittarius’ ultimate motive becomes clear as he takes dramatic and irrevocable steps to settle a score: the hunt for the people behind his son’s murder.

Actor next door Jason Statham (Many of them will no doubt be unlucky enough to meet the action stars’ endless bullets) include Scott Eastwood (Fast & Furious 8), Holt McCallany (Mindhunter), Josh Hartnett (Penny Dreadful), and Jeffrey Donovan (Burn Notice), Fargo) Laz Alonso (The Boys), Raúl Castillo (Army of the Dead), Post Malone (Spenser Confidential), Chris Reilly (The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, Everest) and Niamh Algar (Raised by Wolves).

Ritchie is producing the project alongside Atkinson and Miramax ‘Bill Block. Wrath of Man executive producers are Louise Killin, Joshua Throne, Steven Chasman and Andrew Golov.

Statham was quickly drawn to the premise behind Wrath of Man, with the actor reportedly taking “about 30 seconds” to be convinced to star. “I really liked the premise, and I knew this was going to be a departure from the typical comedic things Guy does, but (still) full of style,” explained Statham. “It’s two genres – robbery and revenge – and I have a personal affection for that type of film.”

Describing the film as “exciting, with tense tension and a big payoff”, Statham revealed why he loves working under Ritchie’s direction so much. “Guy made my career 23 years ago,” he said. “He’s a really confident filmmaker, he’s a writer, he writes and he creates, he puts it in the film, he edits it. He’s a one-man show, and that’s what sets it off (from other directors ) differs. “

Wrath of Man was originally scheduled to be released on January 15, 2021, but has suffered delays due to the ongoing global situation. The film is now set to be released on May 7, 2021 in the US and on July 23, 2021 in the UK. Wrath of Man is just Jason Statham’s first one-two punch and filmmaker and boyfriend Guy Ritchie, with the couple teaming up on the thriller formerly known as Five Eyes.
